  baffling that incel culture is only alluded to and barely explored, especially when the point is supposedly to shine a light on how it influences violence against women. it’s acknowledged that the victim is overlooked by the perpetrator but proceeds to do so in its storytelling - very odd to me. technically very well done, one shot episodes are cool, child actor is great.

  not anywhere near as good as the first film IMO. a lot of cheesy one liners and testosterone fueled action sequences that have become a staple of the genre. reminded me a lot of what the film Starship Troopers makes fun of.

  it also doesn’t help that its predecessor is a classic and a masterpiece of its kind, and for that I have to give it some slack. still a fun ride overall.
