I miss my best friend man. Since we were 10 we never lived less than 5 minutes away from each other, until I moved.

I’ve only seen the original Alien, so my understanding of this film’s originality is definitely skewed somewhat. That being said, what fan service I did notice I actually didn’t mind. I thought Rook was brought back in quite a clever way, although the uncanny AI replication is an issue all on its own (that’s outside the movie though, a rant for another time)
And then everything else was just a feast for all…
Shyamalan is like that one toxic ex-girlfriend who you stayed with way too long because the first couple months went REALLY well.
