Such real and sincere filmmaking which we don't see enough of in the spotlight these days. Multi-layered and textured storytelling that's not afraid of taking its time. Haunting in its subtlety. Heart-wrenching in its realness. Spine-chilling in its relevance.

Cillian Murphy, after winning his first Oscar, showing once again how no one else today can deliver such an understated yet powerful performance. A generational artist.

Robert *freaking* Eggers' mastery in crafting living, breathing worlds with a mesmerizing aesthetic, hypnotizing writing, and spellbinding performances continues! He has a true gift in realizing his vision into a moving picture and bringing the absolute best out of every single actor like no other director today. Lilly-Rose Depp is the obvious standout with a career defining performance, but you could say the same about literally every other actor in the film. And Willem Dafoe’s streak of breathtaking monologues in Robert Eggers’ films continues, and I couldn’t get enough!

Every frame and every line is simply pure poetry—a true piece of art.

One of the most riveting and visually striking films of the year that took me by complete surprise! Mesmerizing cinematography with a tantalizing score from start to finish, and Ralph Fiennes' commanding presence on screen is simply UNMATCHED. A late pleasant surprise from 2024!

Finally. FINALLY, the live-action detective story that the World's Greatest Detective DESERVES! The most intense, gripping, and VISCERAL adaptation yet.

First of all, the performances are all just NEXT LEVEL. Rob Pats gave us the most complex Batman yet. The tortured, rageful, reckless, and full of pain Batman that we never saw in a live-action adaptation before. And Paul. FREAKING. Dano. OH MY GOD. The most terrifying Batman villain yet. Every time he spoke, I SHIVERED in my place. His relationship…

Alright, so I've seen all the unprecedented hype and my expectations were through the fucking roof, and somehow this film exceeded all of that?!!

I still cannot comprehend how this film even EXISTS and how through all the COLORFUL INSANITY and ABSURDITY it still makes absolute fucking sense and still be full of EMOTIONS??? Two stupid rocks sitting in the dirt made me fucking cry, so that sums up this whole OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE.

Also, this film confirms what we've known all along:
    everything bagels are the truth.
