My ratings are based on very inconsistent criteria.
Top 4 have no order and occasionally change.

Among all the farts and silly things I already knew would come with the film- I also cried.

To find someone struggling (or once struggling) with the same dark thoughts you do and, in that, finding new meaning to life. To find love and friendship in someone who was once just a stranger. Cherishing that. Cherishing them. To love someone even in death. To be comfortable in your sexuality. Allowing yourself to be vulnerable and share your true thoughts and feelings.

Possibly my favorite thing I've seen Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe do in a very long time. Love a film that defies my expectations.

This is like if someone who had never made or seen a movie before was asked to make a David Lynch movie.

Docking half a star due to occasional (and minor) issues with the pacing in conversations, as well as some dialogue that felt a bit clunky in its writing. Though, depending on how one interprets the story, the dialogue being "clunky" could make sense considering the last half of the film (trying to avoid big spoilers).

With all that said, it was absolutely beautiful and terrifying in a multitude of ways. A modern David Lynch-ian feel at times and leaves itself…

    ...Absolutely not. Never again.
