This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I found The Return of the King to be pretty corny compared to the other two movies. All of the moments that made me roll my eyes were additions to the source material.
- Denethor, on fire, running for minutes to throw himself off Minas Tirith.
- Sam being gaslit into quitting the quest by Gollum.
- The whole "you and whose army?" bit.
- Gimli drinking until he goes cross-eyed. (For a Gimli fan, this one felt personal)

I told my friend that this is a real documentary and it was hilarious. It's pretty believable up to a certain point.
Lake Mungo is set in the Australian town of Ararat, the same Ararat featured in the 2014 season of The Biggest Loser. Ararat was the fattest town in Victoria in 2014, but there weren't many fat people in this film.
From the audio mixing to the colour grading, this was awful in every way.
It is on a new plane of shite separate from Robocroc and Karate Dog. Congratulations to Eric Williford for setting a new benchmark for bad movies.
This would have been great if the action was presented in a way that didn't make me physically ill.
