overall kind of forgettable but i respect the effort to make a statement, also the use of photographs instead of video was very cool and creepy, i like when horror movies let you use your imagination to unsettle you more than anything they could show you on screen

kind of a hot mess. the main character goes through the trials and tribulations of toxic manipulative lesbian relationships, hits rock bottom multiple times and keeps digging, and eventually meets her hot communist wife who loves her. switches between "it's so over" and "we're so back" at incredible speed. i want to read the book it's based on now.

too much style and not enough substance...the comedy didn't really work and along the way the story lost itself. the russo brothers with a24 was gonna be weird and bad i knew it. as a bonus, the neon and flashing editing was migraine inducing, so watch out. great cast though.
