AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! it took me a minute to adjust to the visual logic of this world but pretty soon i was all in and by that point it became clear we need more movies that refuse to spoon-feed audiences self-announcing narrative causality as netflix has popularized (and continues to push for) in the realm of commercial visual media. more movies which reject aesthetics of profit.
