    Wow. They don't make them like this anymore. A dark Tarantinoesque crime film with some slapstick, some rapey behavior, child gunplay, a bleak ending, & major character that is a child who is IDD, is put in constantly abused and put danger, & is played by a child that is IDD.

    This is peak drive in fare - simultaneously artistic, tone deaf, fascinating, and inept.

    WOW. Art the Clown has hit the mainstream (projected to top the box office this weekend) but still managed to deliver one of the goriest things I have ever seen in my entire life. I honestly am shocked that something this transgressive is becoming this popular...it is a pretty exceptional moment for horror.

    So, here are the good and the bad.

    Do we get more backstory? Yes. Is it completely satisfying? Sort of. I like that it is a little…
