Very good movie with some fantastic cinematography!
idk fuck all anything about the Odyssey, so all I recognised was the sirens part, but I really like the overarching sort of loose journey the movie takes, whether it's original or taken from the Odyssey.
The three lead performances are all great, and I love the wider world it's set in, almost like a happier version of the first third of No Country.

I have never seen anything even remotely like this.
It's like Terence Malick just upped and invented a completely new tone for this movie. Nothing Kit does matches anything he says, and it's one of the most compelling portrayals I've ever seen.
There's some usage of wide shots in this that blow me away, it fully captures the emptiness that's central to this otherwise stock-standard forbidden love story.
I'm sure I have more thoughts about this, but not right now.
