Ya know, if I had amnesia and blew back into LA hoping to chance into finding someone who recognizes me and on the very first day got picked up by the cops AND the gangsters, both telling me to get out of town. I think I'd say "you know what? Let's leave the past in the past. Let's go make some new memories where nobody want me dead". I dunno, maybe that's just me.
