Among the all time greats in family films. The CGI is surprisingly well done for an early 2000s film. Also Steve Buschemi drops one of the hardest movie lines ever “Do you think God stays in heaven because he too was afraid of what he created.” Classic movie and a must watch.

Shrek 2 2004
Probably my favorite installment from the Shrek franchise. I love the addition of Puss n Boots and Eddie Murphy is hilarious as Donkey as always. I just wish the digital streaming options allowed you to play the DVD feature of Far Far Away Idol with Simon Cowell but sadly not the case.

Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
Just a fan-fare film. I’m not to sure of many people who were begging this film to be made but for those who did, I can’t imagine it lived up to the hype. Ryan Reynolds humor and Hugh Jackman’s abs could only save so much of a movie with no clear plot. In addition we have to watch countless other previous Marvel heroes, none of which again-anyone was that excited to see. Really 2.5 stars but the car fight sequence bumps it to 3

This movie obviously plays on the stardom and appeal of lead actress Zendaya but definitely maintains an interesting premise. Two lifelong friends battling for a girl through the means of tennis and a story with its flashback format always allowing surprising twists. Not a forerunner for my favorite film this year but a great watch for casual movie fans
