You Were Never Really Here 2017
I've never seen a movie quite like this before - and I've seen a hell of a lot of movies. It's minimalist, with muttered dialogue, a discordant score, a confusing plot, but none of that matters because each moment is so brilliantly composed and full of dread and shock. Saw this back in the 70's, when I was a wee child, on a big screen at a revival house. Was kind of bored, didn't get it.
