  Hitchcock atones for his cop out in Suspicion with an actual dark, charming & (this time) actually evil leading man in “Shadow Of A Doubt”. All the great Hitch ingredients for a tense Hollywood drama about a killer are here & even though they might not quite be perfected yet it’s tremendous fun.

  An enjoyable slice of hokum, watching “Amadeus” now it seems to me the big miscast isn’t Hulce’s Mozart but F Murray Abraham. It’s a good performance but he’s really just the wrong fit for the role given that they should really be near contemporaries. He seems an old fogey from the off.
