This is a great intro to the Indiana Jones series setting it off for the franchise it becomes. On this rewatch the beginning CGI I thought it was a little questionable, but after that, the movie pulled me in and I forgot all about any CGI blunders or the overall age of the film. I remember sitting there watching this thinking to myself man this movie would’ve been amazing to watch opening night big screen in the theaters. For some reason, we just don’t get big budget blockbuster movies like this anymore, I think a lot of that has to do with streaming services.

I am a huge Terrence Hill and Bud Spencer fan. This was the first movie I watched with only Terrence Hill and it was an enjoyable ride. He’s basically a superhero cop with powers that don’t last for long, which puts them in some pretty sticky situation. I prefer the two of them together.

I’m a sucker for these  parallel universe type movies. This one was pretty good, it’s about a group of friends who find a mirror and basically it’s a portal to another dimension. Kind of a basic storyline if I’m being honest with you. I enjoyed the movie for the most part the only thing that I Didn’t really like it’s probably the last five minutes of the movie.

This movie was awesome, with great music, and a colorful cast of characters. The story is slow, but as each layer gets peeled back, I found myself getting more and more in twined. I feel like this is definitely one of those movies you’re gonna have to watch multiple times to catch pieces of the overall story and context clues. Jamie Foxx and John Boyega stole the show.
