  I think that the Snowpiercer influence/homage is pretty obvious here, from the literal division of classes, characters (the wise men on a wheelchair) and even in the cold-claustrophobic vibe present in the cinematography. The socio-political statement made is surely a good catalyst for the start of many discussions we should be having today, But the movie somehow lacks feeling and novelty(probably cause I Love Snowpiercer and I dont see much of an uprade in ´The platform´ from it), but mostly cause it fails to lay the perfect picture of the system we´re living in.
