It was the best marvel film out since endgame (minus guardians of the galaxy vol III), but that’s a very low bar. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
Unsurprisingly really good. With how this movie ends, I think I’ll like it more once the sequel is out.
I know it’s low hanging fruit, but the visuals were absolutely phenomenal. I loved this film’s use of color, and there were so many scenes where I was in pure awe of what they were able to achieve. The action was really well paced and engaging (especially the parts with Spot) and I thought a lot of the humor landed.
I don’t know if this one is better than the first one, but I am very excited to see how the next one unfolds.
