A masterclass in viral marketing and nothing else. Good framing and acting makes for plenty to be screenshot, discussed, and memed, but its biggest weakness is giving the impression that it has something thoughtful to say. All the reactions are much more interesting than the movie itself, mostly thanks to a fumbled ending that cheapens all the buildup with every new reveal. By the end, I was asking the same questions that stemmed from all the buzz, mostly- why? Now, I didn't really care.
