  An all too familiar narrative of today's political and economic landscape. The two hour-ish runtime with an unbalanced pacing, is forgiven due to RPatz's performance and how I'm a sucker for films advocating for animal rights. There's a touch of heart and humility in this film that I can't quite put into words but you'll know it once you watch other BJH movies.

  For a short film that deals with grief, this is beautiful. This is filmmaking conveyed effectively by its camera direction, set decoration, tone, acting and dialogue. With a brief dialogue that is delivered natural, this short film says everything through its shots and it is beautiful.

  First time watching a Takashi Miike film and definitely not the last. Rainy Dog is slow paced and has little dialogue. Barely nothing happened here and yet I liked it. The cinematography is exciting to look at here. Bumping this to a 5 stars because of the beach scene.
