  I am a 1 on the Kinsey scale.
   “Predominantly heterosexual with incidental homosexual attraction and behavior”

  I admire the historical Kinsey’s social courage and scientific rigor. 

  Not a great movie. Glad it was made because the story needs to be told, but as far as the acting, dramatic tension, and cinematography, everything was average.

  Was not expecting the barely subtle gay and incestual themes.

  The psychological sophistication of actors and scripts has advanced a lot since 1955. 

  James Dean’s character is desperate to “be a man” and his actions hurt everyone around him. He is cool, but his coolness is rooted in confusion. He is lost, and inspired a whole generation of men to be cool and lost as well.
