I did not expect this to go as deep as it did.

On the surface it's a story about birth, life, death and love.

Underneath it basically hits all the themes that a person could face during a life time, from different perspectives.

An unremarkable sequel which didn't really add much to what was done before.

Shame, the previous two were really quite good!

To attain complete concentration listen to the smiths on repeat.

Yeah this was good, very....precise... everything had it's place.

Lacked...emotion...heart...but that was indeed the point.

Alan Arkin died a couple days ago and I've never gotten around to watching this.

I really like anti war movies, they often demonstrate the horrors of war better than their pro war action movie counterparts.

This movie takes the anti war theme and mixes in some satire (never read the book) and adds some dark humor.

The result is an army base of lunatics with the bombardier being the only sane man on base.

It's daft, silly, but also chilling, and no doubt a authentic take on soldiers in war,and how insane it all is
