Did not expect this to be a “Pocahontas/Avatar but this time it’s Harrison Ford living with the Amish and learning their ways” type movie but here we are.
Excellent Saturday afternoon watch.
Another great example of an unspoken rule of cinema:
The more cigarettes smoked onscreen, the better the movie is.
Deeply moving drama about grief, family, and survivor’s remorse.
“Because I’m your friend” had me sobbing.
5 stars, god dammit, 5 stars.
I would like to personally apologize to Michael Mann for letting this expertly crafted and extremely entertaining corporate thriller sit on my watchlist for 20+ years. My ignorance continues to know no bounds.
