Maestro 2023
Really expected something different about a man who was a contemporary of my beloved Beatles. I wasn’t expecting to be treated to a complicated marriage story. I thought it’d be more about his music. I did think the acting was very good though. Kind of sad that there was zero reward at the Globes and to add to that slight, a snarky comment was made that Bradley Cooper’s face was ‘annoyed’ that he didn’t win. The person who penned that review apparently never worked all their energy into something only to be given no credit for it.

How Green Was My Valley 1941
Very old film. It reminded me why I didn’t like most films when I was young. Film painted life in such a way that made people seem as one dimensional. Still, it was fun to watch an old movie again. The running theme throughout was the gamut between good and evil.
