    Of the greatest films I've seen in recent memory.

    Polley's (and DP Luc Montpellier's) relentless and radical use of film language is astonishing. It slides so easily from objective to subjective; from personal to global; it's not rushed and even at 100 minutes sometimes feels impossibly intimate, slowing almost to a full stop. I was reminded of Todd Field's Tar, and that title character's description of the conductor as a god who manipulates time.
