The original version of Red Dragon from the Hannibal Lecktor series, this goes a completely different way. Classic Michael Mann vibe it’s all stylish tropical 80s with oversized shirts, blue lights and synth soundtracks. Creeped me the hell out, Tom Noonan is outstanding, Brian Cox doesn’t get enough screen time but is a compelling Lecktor and William Petersen is heady and weirdly sexy in a corny 80s way.

On another note, George Lucas, Ridley Scott, Christopher Nolan and Pink Floyd ripped this off so hard. And the…
