Yessssssss
This is exactly what I wanted when I heard Eggers was making a Nosferatu movie. A gloomy and engrossing atmosphere, a smooth camera gliding across the scenes like Count Orlok himself, Willem Dafoe doing an accent!!
Lily-Rose Depp was a standout for me, really giving it her all in key scenes. Her convulsion scenes took me by surprise and added to the dread. Plus the tweak they make to her character really brought the story full circle for me…

Rachel Zegler says “Matthew” towards the end of the movie cause it’s the name of one of the guards she’s confronting and I almost simped out 5 stars just cause I got the satisfaction of hearing her say my name. Morbius is everything I expected it to be and more! A nice and tight 104 minute feature that cuts so much out, it’s actually missing any semblance of a story! Genius! Don’t be fooled though, just because it’s only 104 minutes, it still feels like a 3 hour romp filled with pain, misery, abhorrent CGI, flashing lights, loud noises, stupid characters, and little to no redeeming qualities!! Only a true masterpiece could accomplish such a feat!! Thank you Avi Arad and everyone at Sony for continuing to pump out the worst blockbusters of the year!
