Jack Quaid might’ve clinched the white boy of the month title for March with this performance, following Companion. He really is on a roll right now. But I thought this movie was a lot of fun. Not necessarily good, but fun. Gory gratuitous violence at times, but that makes sense given the premise of the movie.

This movie made me admire Lorne Michaels’ hard work and vision, miss John Belushi, hate Chevy Chase even more and thirst after young Dan Aykroyd. So, I imagine it accomplished its purpose.

The casting and costumes perfectly embodied the performers and the era they existed in. I loved the pacing of the movie too—full speed ahead, a pause to breathe, then back to hyperdrive.
