A lot prettier than I remember, the movie is visually stunning and really does pull you in from the very first frame.
I really wish the conversations between the brothers and Latika were in hindi? I get that it's a hollywood movie but when your characters are kids from the slums of Mumbai, their conversations being in english just breaks immersion. After all Danny Boyle is not pulling any punches when it comes to depicting the downtrodden, poverty stricken slums of India is he?
Besides that the music is incredible, the acting is solid and overall a pretty entertaining watch.
