  I never played any of the games and even I was disappointed there wasnt a scene copying the door management gameplay

  Watched this in car while deadlocked in a parking lot for 3 hours without moving. For that I'll always be traumatized of singing animals. Movie itself was alright.

  Forced references aside, a pretty good combination of previous Alien films. I thought the main actors were pretty good and everyone in general felt a bit smarter than the usual set of victims. The visuals and audio are peak Alien design in the way the game Alien: Isolation felt.

  Overall there's enough new ideas to keep it interesting although still has pretty predictable story beats.
