You'd think this movie would put a lot more context behind Scar and Mufasa's relationship, instead it just kind of ruined it. The fact Scar had already betrayed Mufasa once really takes away from how it's supposed to be a huge shock to Mufasa in the original. And what? Scar betrays Mufasa, almost gets him killed, and then years later just decides "actually fuck it, I want him dead again".

Some people seem worried that this movie is here to justify Joker's actions; to make him seem right and thus will motivate real people to follow the movies example.
