  The dynamics of this group of friends is so strong, with each character further developed from the 2006 film 'This Is England'. Their trials, tribulations and sense of humour sees writers Shane Meadows and Jack Thorne transcend Mike Leigh here, with the series taking place during the mod revival and Mexico '86.

  It is gripping and refreshing to hold an audience across so many plot threads working from a laugh out loud scene one second, to some of the most disturbing, heart stopping scenes the next.

  Iconic.
