  This healed me of my sad feeling after watching A Complete Unknown. I feel like I understand the dudes motivations better in this. Actually I feel like A Complete Unknown was a bit unfair to him after watching this.

  I really enjoy Pete Davidson as an actor. I can see why he chose this film. It's not about time travel; it's about mental illness. I don't think they do a great job signposting the displayed hypomania as problematic and indicative of the deeper issues that are later explored - I imagine some viewers just thought it was annoying writing or acting.

  I loved this film, but I didn't love the way it made me feel.

  The man wrote the most powerful, most beautiful songs. And this ain't fair, but you kinda wanna see that cost a pound of flesh. You want to see it break somebody apart to wrench that kinda depth out of themselves and onto paper and to perform.

  Imagine if Kurt Cobain wrote and performed all that stuff and was just kinda doing his thing in the background,…
