  Very funny, with some very good lines although the narrator jumping in and out to make quips I didn’t like. 

  Ryan gosling is wonderful and top notch support for an expectedly great margot robbie.
   
  The mother/daughter reconnection through the barbies but via opposite pathways to their original thoughts on the barbies was very heartwarming.

  New years resolution is to be slightly more sincere in thinking about films/other media i consume (I hve just made this up but it feels good enough).

  I can’t think of anything I don’t like about this film, so it is very possible it is bumped to a 5* soon enough. It balances the silliness very well with the more “serious” aspects, injecting the former into the latter (the numerous occasions they almost get caught, KKK scene etc).
