The Brutalist 2024
Very well-made, especially on a ~$10mm budget. Definitely has some great moments throughout, but I just wasn’t a huge fan of the overall final product. There’s certainly truth to the film’s commentary on America’s treatment of immigrants, though I’m not sure that three and a half hours were necessary to get the point across. Wouldn’t be opposed to Brody getting Best Actor for this.
