Pretty darn scary in parts. As all movies do these days, it overplayed its CGI. A bizarre ending that I don’t known if I liked...

Wow. What a vile, disgusting movie. But for fans of extreme horror, this is also a terrific film. Destroying all boundaries, this movie goes where few have ever trodden. It's downright snuff in several scenes. The gore is fantastic. And the performances are surprisingly good for such a cheap production.

    ★★★★★

One of the most mind-bending film experiences I've had. Terrifically written, directed, and acted, this movie builds tense layer upon tense layer almost from the start. It's quick-paced and constantly ups the ante. I find that so many thrillers fall apart once the threat is known. But Coherence keeps adding mysteries and character confusion. I felt a true sense of dread watching this. It's the kind of movie that I crave.
