I love this movie so much and I'm glad my Advanced Film Production class loved it too!

I watched the movie The Wrong Missy over Spring Break. One production element I really like in this film was the choice of locations, because it takes place in Portland, OR but the cast also goes to a Hawaiian retreat. Another production element I think the filmmaker did a great job on is casting, since David Spade and Lauren Lapkus were hilarious. However, the filmmaker should've done a better job with the script. It was funny, but too predictable. I recommend this film to people who love Happy Madison Productions.

I thought the movie was actually really fun. Some people seem to be overwhelmed with the pacing of it, and some are annoyed that it was directed by a white male director even though the movie takes place in Japan. That part is frustrating; however, there are tons of cultures and countries represented in the film. Progress not perfection.

    ★★★½

I thought C'mon C'mon was an endearing film, if not a little boring. It showcases the theme of family and relationships by exploring Johnny and his nephew's similarities as they get to know each other. This movie would be great for people who are mothers, or uncles, or sons or if they just like watching sweet films about family.
