    Sick (unwell, not cool)!
Isabelle Huppert has the worst possible typecast assignment.
    Did not like, unsettled me.
Gotta watch something silly before I go to sleep.

If a gag gift was a movie.

LOVE Jerry Stiller. Have only seen him be hilarious. I wonder about his actual acting range. I'm always so delighted by his characters.

My Mom saw a few minutes of this.
Ma: (asking about Divine) Is that a man or a woman?

Yeaah 🙃! Can't help but think of Van Peebles in Paris.

I always love when a film refracts ideas of performance. It's so apt that this is short too. Form-wise, to show racism as an effective disruption, as a cleaver to the more universal human experiences of peoples oppressed by racism was very tactful. I wish they woulda let that man act out that mental health crisis. But it's such a rhyme that he wasn't able to. And an illumination of the limits of cinema when target audiences aren't receptive.
    Good on Laou.
