  Wasn’t bad but wasn’t good. Started out with a bang but just never formed into a good story and the third act kind of goes off the rails. Pacing is also a bit slow.

  So were the Baboons on meth? How did the sharks get into the colosseum? It wasn’t horrible, but the CGI was. 

  It just felt tired and shoehorned. Why does this exist? Why not use the original kid if you wanted to go this route? Everything seemed recycled. Down to the last speech right out of Braveheart. 

  The 4K scan was good,  but some of those sets stick out like a sore thumb. Dolby atmos mix was good. 

  Added one star for Paul Mescals thighs. It’s what the men of Rome fight for.
