  Adolescence 2025

  Using the true crime genre (and Netflix) to wrong-foot the audience into paying attention to a tour de force investigation into the lives of young men is a stroke of genius.

  Like a series of Mamet plays, it explores the logical conclusions and consequences of an economy that invests in rage and isolation. It’s devastating and necessary and I think I’d watch it again.

  Stephen Graham is brilliant.

  That last episode is unlike anything I’ve seen, and while not particularly explosive, it ruined me.

  I think Andrew Tate should die :)

  I could definitely watch this ten times over. Feels almost absurdly clever, but that’s part of the fun.

  Plus, it looks sooooooo good🤌

  As a subject, David Cornwell offers a polished mirror to reflect the tenured director’s own artistic vision and his personal and historical relationships with the world.

  A must for anyone familiar with or fascinated by John le Carre or Errol Morris as artists.

  Looking forward to the sequel, “Christmas in Love with Money” where the year-round Kringle fad fails, so Nick has no choice but to automate in order to keep his family in business.
