Liked it but didn't love it! The vibes are certainly there and I love the director and the cast. But idk, just didn't land as much as I wish it had. It felt like somebody told Bong Joon Ho that western audiences are stupid and need everything explained lol. That being said, really funny and a fun watch.

Transformers One 2024
Kind of shocked I liked this one so much. Trailers made me think it was gonna be a lot of “he’s right behind me isn’t he” humor. There is a bit of that but, at its core, it’s genuinely a well fleshed out origin for optimus and megatron and found myself pretty enthralled in the stakes of it.
Its also a lot funnier than I would have gave it credit for.
