  In Miller’s directorial debut, he brings us what can only be described as a generation defining masterpiece. A brilliant work of art, which, while true to it’s source material, displays an understanding of contemporary culture which rivals any film I have viewed. With phenomenal set pieces, costumes, acting, and soundtrack, it is simultaneously breathtakingly insightful and highly entertaining. Any film critic or connoisseur who has not yet watched this incredible work should not be considered to have a real understanding of the canon of cinema.
