I was disengaged for the whole first act of the movie, but…. Everything from Igor and Toros visiting the house onward… I was laughing my ass off lol. And in the final act, after the dust settled, I loved the display of emotion from Anora herself. It was relatable, sympathetic, and pretty emotional.
And the ending was the cherry on top for a couple reasons.
This movie was hilarious. And hot…. Idk about Oscar worthy, but that was genuinely more complex than I expected. And I enjoyed it.

Watching Benji interact with the world was such a whirlwind from beginning to end… sandwiched by two powerful and pensive scenes of him just sitting in the airport, the pain behind his eyes on full display. I kept waiting for an explosion between David and Benji to happen… but it didn’t happen the way I expected. And I think that’s a good thing.
