  I thought my friend was pranking me and the prank was how long would you stand white men talking about nonsense until you ragequit, and since I finished the film I think I lost.

  white men's dreams fulfilled through exploitation (fitzcarrldo and herzog). good for them? A long, boring, and chaotic film sprinkled with racism and exploitation for hubris. I couldn’t have been less interested.

  Edit: down to the least possible rating after I watched burden of dreams. this film is built on the backs of exploitation, racism, and recklessness of a man. actual people died for this film for Herzog’s “dream”. production wouldn’t have to be hard/life threatening if he just had…
