  baffling film, each scene is barely strung together. seven different directors and it really shows. it has some nice fantasy moments with little imps and an evil sorcerer (satan) but im not sure it pulls the whole thing off

  never seen a film rely so heavily on its predecessor, the writing is pretty bad this time round yet they really want you to remember how many quotable lines the first one had with non-stop references. costumes and set pieces were good it was nice to see a big budget modern classical film, full of ahistorical bits but I come to expect that from this sort of film.
