Moana 2 2024
Forgettable. Plot was pretty Good! But boring new supporting cast, forgettable songs. (This movie really could have used Lin-Manuel Miranda!!)
Antagonist was uninteresting. One of the characters that helps Moana, has an unresolved plot. It’s literally set up and forgotten by the writers.
If this was a one off, I’d be less critical. But Moana is one of my favorite kid movies. I unfortunately feel like this would have been a better tv show (which is what it was supposed to be).

The Garfield Movie 2024
After watching this about twice a day. This movie somehow got better? lol
I guess I know what it is as a story now and don’t have expectations of what I originally wanted. So I will back my 3 star rating now. Not just because of Brooklyn
Something that would have given it an extra star or half a star… in the beginning while Garfield is flipping through the channels… If they had some foreshadowing with a commercial for “Lactose farms” to set up the heist a little better
