this felt like Sean Baker’s best approximation of a sex worker and goddam it it is so surface level and lacking in any nuance or depth.
Mikey did a great job with what she was given, but overall I was just completely disappointed with a movie whose premise had a lot of potential.
It’s rare that an entire trilogy is this good, particularly a horror movie trilogy.
The perfect amount of camp, gore, stunning practical effects and cinematography - you need to see all three of these movies, as soon as possible.
Do not accept a movie you do not deserve - this one’s a goddam star.
