I remember hearing about this movie's development back in high school. Back then, I was skeptical it would make it to screen, and grew even more so as news of its troubled production trickled through the news feeds. I kept that skepticism as the premiere grew closer— oddball interviews getting hosed, the merchandising missing the mark— but that skepticism ends here.
