    AGNES VARDA FOREVER! 

    so impressed that this was her first feature ! queen of the French new wave it’s crazy that Godard and truffât are known to starting this wave but varda was way ahead of them… there is a lot to love about this movie in particular i love the way the camera moves through this fishing town like a gust of wind, it takes in all the people living in la pointe courte, the conversations, the wandering cats,  laundry hanging, the festivities.. all the while lovers contemplate the passage of time and their love simmering into a disquiet passion….
