A Real Pain 2024
Love seeing Jesse Eisenberg discover is more sentimental side in his writing/directing, and for letting us see more inside the vulnerabilities in his heart. Kieran’s enigmatic and raw performance could not have been more endearing to watch. The heavy weight of the subject matter is beautifully allowed to exist in its silence, so that we may also exist in it with them. Soft, brazen, weighted, and all with its crash.
