  Pullman and Preston Carter are good in this mess. The third act was enjoyable. I enjoyed the mood most of the time, the music used worked for me.

  But Got Dan this shit sucked. I don’t even feel like breaking down all my issues with it really. It was never scary enough when it should’ve been, and there was little to no substance. Doesn’t follow the themes of the novel at all. Stupid character decisions, plot holes. You know the vibes

  I really, really enjoyed this movie on its own. Read the term “legacy sequel” all over and I don’t feel like that does this film justice. 

  Liked - constant tension, spaeny’s got a gun

  Loved - Jonnson’s character arc, VISUALS

  Loathed - lack of gore (???), acid vag/stupid character decisions
