  What an insane movie. 

  I actually really enjoyed the opening first 45 minutes and found John Huston's bumbling character hilarious but the movie starts to completely go off the rails and the repeated use of old movie clips start to go from clever to tired. It's a really interesting movie to watch unfold but as it stands it's only pieces of a better film edited like a weird student film project.

  I'm a sucker for the first Boondock Saints and so I decided to give this a rewatch for St. Paddy's seeing that the last time I saw it was it's theatrical release. It might be the most homophobic film of all time. Julie Benz's Eunice Bloom might be one of the most annoying film characters of all time also and this is a film with Clifton Collins, Jr.'s Romeo.
